Memories in Stone
One of the last things you can do for a loved one is to give them a memorial stone that tells a little something about their passing through life. It also gives family and friends a place to go and remember and pay tribute. With cremation becoming so popular, we often have people come to us, later, in need of a stone for their garden or a place where they can just go and spend time.
Here is a poem given to me by a Native American friend:
One more that was written years ago:
"This is my own,
This hallowed place.
This is my final resting place.
So carve my name in stone, I pray,
To tell the world I passed this way."
Just some things to consider at the passing of a loved one.
